TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
